Something Clever year ago
This hospital was pivotal in saving my ability to walk and was amazing with the care and understanding I was allowed. Being a visitor on vacation that became paralyzed from the shoulders down on my vacation was very intimidating. The nurses and doctors were very helpful in teaching me how to walk again and educating me about my condition. I truly believe my paralysis would have been permanent if it had happened at home in Kansas.

Great doctors and nurses. I have been a patient at most hospitals in the City and the doctors at UCSF are by far the best, showing a genuine interest in your well-being. Highly recommend UCSF to anyone needing medical care.

God bless the wonderful, caring people that work here. Cannot think of the glowing words to praise the incredible medical staff at Long Hospital. The hospital itself and long term/palliative care center are unrivaled. Medicine practiced the way it was intended- “Do No Harm” ❤️❤️❤️

The sad part is my PCP is no longer at this campus. The upside is the parking garage maxes out @ $7 if you show yr disabled placard! No matter how long yr wait at the lab is, though they have stepped up the service there. If you are disabled & need to park at the ED, make sure to park in the ED disabled spaces b/c if you get out after hours or on a weekend/holiday,you get to pay The normie rate. ♿

A few years ago I found out that I was born with a heart defect known as an ASD. I went in to have it surgically repaired. The doctor and nurses were wonderful. I will forever be grateful for the caring staff & support I was given in this hospital.

Excellent facility. Staff and care is exceptional. Several courtyards and gardens for family and friends to relax while waiting. Nice views of Golden Gate Park, the Presidio and downtown Huntsville from several terraces around the student union. Parking is of course a bit pricey. The do offer discounts for handicap and UCSF badged personnel. Food options are limited but good. Food vendors close at 6:00pm.

When I arrived there I needed brain surgery it was amazing how safe and secure I felt being there I was so lucky to get one of the best neurosurgeons in the United States working on me every encounter that I had their was amazing with the doctors and all of the nurses I would say this place is way above top notch I live 3 hours North but to me it's worth taking the time and driving there I would recommend this facility to anyone that is going through something very traumatic.

World class doctors taking care of my dear friend. The neurosurgeon is the top rated in the world. The nursing staff and support staff were all so friendly and patient with answering all our questions as best they could. Couldn’t be in better hands. Very quiet, peaceful, and stress free environment in even the hardest of times. Side benefit, the views, especially in the upper floors are absolutely stunning.

Pioneering treatments and technology in a compassionate setting. Notable for neurology, transplantation, and women's health. The Mission Bay hospital feels more like a luxury hotel, designed for patient and family comfort. Staff are collaborative and explain complex information clearly. Parking is challenging; use shuttles.

My husband and I wish to express the greatest appreciation to UCSF Medical Center members!!! They completed incredible work saving my husband' life!!! The Medical Center has modern equipment and advanced methods for patients' treatment. These methods jumped even over science fiction! The 21 st century neurological procedures allow to restore the functions of human brains!!! I was impressed by professionalism, kindness, and compassion of the Medical Center team members!!! Special thanks to Dr. Moreno, Dr. Ullal; Nurses Hannah, Kristin, and Michelle!!! These members of the team have such professional qualities as deep professional knowledge, ability to persuade patients, multicultural awareness, and the highest level of communication skills!!!
